First and foremost, I will say, I LOVE this cute lil sea lion. The colors of this game are super pleasing to look at, so kudos for that!
Though, I will say some of the environment settings confused me! I understand it's part of the narrative, but some of the choices for environment were more difficult to navigate (e.g. climbing inside of the trees). I had some small issues with collision, particularly in this area where I would have to wiggle the character through some gaps in the trees. I would also love to see some more visuals, like during the opening. Since the narrative is introduced as a story, it would be neat to add some more visuals and make it a storybook or a dusty research notebook to show the lack of engagement with this theme (like the human character talks about near the trees). I think it may also help if the camera is centered, too, so the player is able to look before leaping.
Otherwise, the platforming was fun! One of those games that makes you tell your friends, "just one more time!" Love it.
