Between the illustrated pink menu (with the lovely pencil drawing) and the version featuring a real food photo and a smartphone screen — the one highlighted in your Itch.io gallery — I was definitely more drawn to the second. It has a great vibe!
I’ve been thinking about how to create a layout that feels real, but still leaves room for imagination and playful absurdity. After seeing your post, I started digging into Canva to explore some ideas and inspiration.
I can’t promise a quick turnaround — I’m juggling about 30 projects at once (designing 4 games, writing 20 scenarios for Cats! The Conspurracy, reviewing 40+ other games, and working on a few articles) — but hopefully, I’ll have a design proposal by the end of October. Maybe!
