The button to create a new project does not work.
I tried to give the entire disk access to the application but it did not fix the problem.

The problem might be that Pixelbox is trying to create the project in an invalid location.
Can you try to click on the "Location" input box? A file selection should open. From here, select a valid location like "Documents"

Brilliant! It is important to mention that it is the first thing I must click, if I take any other action then it will not allow it.

Thank you very much!

I had a similar issue with Windows 10, the first time PixelBox ran after install it would not present a file dialog to choose a location.  After closing it and running it again, it worked fine.

Thank you!

Thank you very much, bro.

Thanks for the feedback! This will help me to improve this part of the UI.

Theirs no space between to and improve

I second the info that a message or requirement to first choose the project location is needed otherwise if I entered a name, I couldn't do anything, even cancel. I had to force quit and then try again. MacOS version.

ts not worits not workinfg for me?

Even when selecting documents it won't work

Can you explain with more details what you are you are doing and what is happening in the UI? In particular what the location path looks like, and what name did you set for your project?

Ok, so, after I installed it I used the shortcut in the desk. Then the small window w/ new/open project. I selected "New" and gave it the name of  " The Tale Of The Shotgun Hero" and tried to put it on a folder in my desktop. It didn't work. Then I tried saving it on documents. Didn't work either. It keeps saying "please select a valid location for your project"

I realized I made another silly mistake in the location check. I am very sorry about that.

I made a hotfix and redeployed version 2.0.1

Can you download again and see if this fix the issue?

I wanted to add this to the thread very quickly, I had an issue where I couldn't create a new project as it was a bad file location. To fix this, I made a folder that had the same name as my project, then selected the folder that contained the new folder I created. That fixed this.

This issue should be resolved in version 2.0.1

Pixelbox will try to choose a default location in this order:  documents, home, desktop

It also show a message tooltip if the location is invalid.

Wuuhuuu! Thank you
