Interesting mechanic! The visuals, although simple, gives a really nice atmosphere overall to the game.
The gameplay mechanic could definitely be expanded a bit more post-jam, but the mechanic itself is really solid with a lot of potential ^^
Also a tip for game building: I think the Pico-8 engine allows web build(which can be played directly in the browser). That way, the game could be more accessible.

Yeah, I totally agree with that I could expand it a little bit more, and I plan to do so later on, maybe once I have some more experience with making games.
And yes, the Pico-8 engine does in fact allow for web build, but only with the paid version(as far as I'm aware of), which I don't own. I used the education edition which is free online, and has most of the features that the paid version has.
