This was a fun experience, and it introduced me to a set of folklore I had no idea existed up until now. I couldn’t help but do a little research after playing. The game has a good atmospheric build-up, along with some wonderfully layered sounds that put me on edge a few times. The retro visual style is on point; I’m always a fan of the “less is more” mentality when it comes to horror.
Overall, it’s an atmospherically dense horror game that knows just when to get in your face, using a methodical build-up of story and atmosphere to unsettle. The only thing I might have liked to see was a few more possible endings, or maybe some hidden secrets for veering from the main pathways (though it’s likely I just missed something).
Anyway, thanks for putting this out there, and I hope you have a great day!
