Would making a SFW version (demo?) with a separate page and no payments allow the game to stay listed? From there you could likely just include a link to the proper version which wouldn't then need listing as your traffic comes from the non-spicy version. Might be a way around the issue?

Yeah, probably not. First, the game is nsfw at its core, so it's not possible to make it appear sfw. Second, I don't want to do something that could potentially have a negative impact on the future of the game on this platform. So, the best thing right now is probably to wait a little and see what happens.
