HOLY MOLY!! first of all let me say how absolutely amazing this is, the art and the multiple customizable options for the main character is awesome, especially the asexual option, and as an ace person I appreciate that!

Now the grief and trauma, to sum it up, it's amazing. I have a similar backstory to both MC and Morgan, so both are incredibly relatable, both in the way they tackle their individual trauma. (Both would definitely benefit from therapy lol) But also because it shows different responses to trauma, MC being shut down and fight, Morgan's being Fawn and what I'd say is freeze (for now I don't know him fully yet.) both are pretty well written and I'm excited to see more.

The setting is good too! Oceans can really play a lot in grief, as it's pretty symbolic for how you tend to drown in your sadness and I like you picked it with a light house too, again symbolic!

Also I'm curious about a phew things, will there be any good endings where Morgan and MC stay together? And with the design of those 3 image card thingies what are those? are they perhaps to symbolize paths or completion of a route? Does it matter which one you click? Sorry if these questions are dumb, just curious! but again lovely game I'm excited!

OHH thank you so much for playing, your comments are so sweet 🥺 this is my first time implementing such detailed customization options, so I'm really glad that you liked them!! 😆 I won't spoil too much but your analysis of the two characters and how they cope with trauma is really spot on (especially Morgan's "fawn" response - it was something that I specifically referenced while writing him, actually 😂) And I'm glad that you liked the setting too - I had a lot of fun incorporating ocean motifs into the visuals and the writing (I might have used too many ocean metaphors, LOL)

Regarding your questions, they're a bit spoilery so I'll put them under a tag:

=====MINOR SPOILERS=====

For the first question, I can't answer in too much detail without spoiling too much about the plot. There are "good endings," but I will say that there aren't any endings that are 100%, unambiguously happy - the final game will be bittersweet overall. Certain mistakes have been made, things have happened, and the question is how to pick up the pieces.

I purposefully leave it a bit ambiguous, but the three cards represent the three point systems in the game. Almost every choice you make can contribute to one of three "affection" systems with Morgan: love, empathy, and trust. Which combination of points you have affects your final route/ending, and each combination will have a different result. For instance, high love/low empathy and trust will have a different result from high love and empathy/low trust. The image cards aren't actually clickable, they're just there to give you the indication of the points you have at the end of each chapter! (As for which card represents which point system... that's a secret! But I'll make sure to release a full walkthrough for each ending after the game is done.)

Thank you again for playing, and taking the time to comment! I hope that these answer your questions!
