Thanks for that useful tip.

But all NSFW content has been shadowbanned from itch. I'm being a bit nitpicky I guess. Like you said, it still exists, it just can't be naturally found anymore. Itch.io is primarily an advertising platform for us, so we've essentially been locked out and left to die by itch.

Nobody uses Patreon to search for new games, is what I mean. Without Itch, I don't think there are ANY legal, legitimate and popular places to find NSFW games left. They either host illegal content, are pirating sites, or are not popular because getting too big means you get shut down by Collective Shout.

Oh I see, thank you both for the extra info.

Edit) - Some of the homepages for NSFW game(s) are inaccessible:

"This game's files have been suspended by an itch.io administrator."

Or now:

"You do not have access to this page"

"This game has been restricted by the author and can not be downloaded. The owner of the page must give permission to those they wish to access the page. If you think this is a mistake, please get in touch with support."

Those likely had fetishes banned by Collective Shout, such as scat, pee, or other "fringe" content.

Man do those people complain about everything they don't like, especially when it's within the realm of fiction, but unfortunately they can't tell the difference. Well, I am glad that our counter-offensive is bearing fruit or at least making a difference as you pointed out. <3
