Honestly, better this way. Addiction sucks

This isn't about addiction. While addiction sucks, and porn and porn games can be addictive, banking and credit companies like Visa and Mastercard aren't concerned about that. They simply want to impose their morals on others.
A company shouldn't have the right to use its power to force smaller platforms, like Itch.io, to comply with their desires and censor legally developed games by independent people. These games aren't violating any laws, which makes this illegal censorship. Furthermore, it affects our liberty of expression and violates our right of choice.
In conclusion, today it starts with ''problematic and morally incorrect games''; tomorrow, it could be books, channels, sponsors, and more. They have also censored and removed various LGBTQIA+ games that aren't even explicit. These actions by Visa and Mastercard are nothing more than blatant hypocrisy, especially since they still operate on sites like OnlyFans and other live cam platforms that truly affect the image of real people—not to mention the numerous cases of minors selling pornographic material on those same platforms.
