Sorry to ask you this. I have been planning to download this game for a while but then I only found it in itch.io which represents a problem for me because my internet connection is shit and I usually have to click the download bottom a bunch of times to completely download the game. I am taking about times the download completely stops and I have to start from the beginning.

Would I need to pay every single time that happens ?

Download without fear friend! Once you've paid all you need to do is go into "My Library" here on the site (click the downward facing chevron in the upper right corner next to your profile) or in the desktop app and right at the top should be a list of owned games that has your paid version in it. You won't be charged after you've already paid.
