I think the whole thing is being treated quite unfairly. Whether it's video games, films, or anime, there is content that goes far beyond the limits, and nothing is being done about it. The same goes for Netflix, where content that doesn't really belong there is also being shown.

Some children's films are approved for ages six and up, but the content shown in them goes far beyond that. Extreme gore is shown, yet such content is not banned. The only change is that the age rating is raised slightly to 12, but the film is still not intended for this age group.

Unfortunately, everything is treated so unfairly. Artists and others who work on visual novels are always the first to be affected. You're not allowed to freely express your opinions, and you're practically dictated what content you can create. I don't think any of it is justified.

But I really hope that this project won't be affected, and by the way, I really like this VM a lot. <3

And yeh, I've been at this whole nsfw artist for a while, and it really feels like roughly every 18 months you have to dodge some kind of bullet that threatens your livelyhood. Whether it's some site shutting down, or restricting adult work.

It's not fun...

Yes, and when I looked at my watch list on itch earlier, I saw that three VMs had already disappeared and are currently blocked.

And I also have a guess as to what the problem might be: some VMs don't always have self-drawn backgrounds, even though they are usually censored, i.e. slightly blurred. I'm not very familiar with this.

And since I've been following your art for a long time, everything you do is always drawn by hand, which means that no real environments are shown, which leads me to believe that this is why a few VMs have disappeared. where not everything was drawn by hand.

And I really hope that we can spend even more time with Arthur in the future and have special moments with him, because I really like him very much. I like his temperament and how grumpy he is. ^^,

They'll all get their time if Conway survives through this, don't worry. :)

And i don't know if it's the background really. Problem is that itch has provided absolutely zero communication at this point. So it's just impossible for us to tell just what the criteria are. And the list they added to their FAQ is about as vague as it can get.
