An interesting concept, but there are issues:

- First level crashes the game.
- It's too chaotic. Maybe first level wasn't like the other two, but the second and third are overloaded with enemies and different power ups and other things. But it's not necessarily bad thing. I think that could work if that was last level and if there where easier levels which would gradually show each of the enemies it could work.
- Cursor is too slow, bullets are too fast and small,
- The way of dealing with enemies is contradicting tight space and slow speed of cursor.
- The game isn't readable enough The color pallette would fix that. E.g. make background toned down, so the important information likecursor and enemies are more seeable. Make each type of object have a unique colors. Godot (finish line) is blue, so make it the only object with that color, as it's very important for the player to locate it. Bullets are too small, but if they were the only bright red thing they could work in that size.

Overall the game has its flaws, but it has also potential. You just need to try to fix them.

I wish you luck!

P.S. Thanks for playing my tech demo!

Thanks for leaving all this feedback! I might or might not try to fix some bugs after this jam ends.

-Do you remember if there’s anything in particular you did (like interacting with a certain object) that crashed the game? It’s fine if you don’t, I can figure it out myself. But it seems like the first level worked for other people.

-Sorry about the difficulty. I was afraid of the game being too easy so I guess I overcompensated in the other direction lol. I’ll try to find a better balance in future jams.

-It’s true that some things are too small. The Xs should definitely have been bigger. It’s my fault for being too lazy to remake their sprite ig.

-You’re completely right about the background! I remember thinking to myself as I was making it “When you put this in Godot, don’t forget to modulate it so it looks duller”. Aaaaand when I put it in Godot, I completely forgot to modulate it.

Once again, thank you for leaving so much valuable feedback. Good luck with your game too!
