Let's trade feedback. I submitted a project too.

  • Gameplay: Great job with your mechanics. The gameplay loop is simple and clear. I love the simplicity; so glad you added a Restart feature that works. I like that we can choose our own map and you also had a proper easy level 1 that let's us experiment safely.
  • Visuals: Very consistent visuals and great use of the pixel packs. The mechanical / industry theme does come through well. Your minimap level selection also looks cool and thought-out. It reminds me of the electric Pokemon gym levels where you have to press switches to unlock parts of the level. You're headed in a great direction.

Recommendations:

  1. If you decide to expand, you could keep the mechanics but have thematic levels. For example, in real life there are different types of powers plants. So you can have diff maps with different environmental hazards to mix things up. We even have underwater power plants, so you could make a sea or underwater level with electric eels or whirlpools as the hazards to go around. You could also play with having a limited amount of moves you can use. Or even having achievements per level based on the amount of moves you saved.
