uhh how do i save, I pressed to go back to the menu and then load but it was empty. pressing start restarts the game...

Hello, sorry for the late reply! That depends, are you playing the Legacy Demo or Prologue? (I'd assume the Legacy Demo, which most people have issues with finding!)
Legacy Demo: Saving is in the notebook, if you hover your mouse to the top right of the screen.
Prologue: In the menu, accessed by ESC or Right-click.
