I've hit a serious, random bug. All but three of the members of the club just randomly disappeared at some point during play. Over 35 of them, with only the first three recruits remaining behind. It's as if it reset itself to an earlier point.
I have no idea what caused it; I just checked into the management system and they were gone. And I had already overwritten my previous save, so I can't backtrack past the point where it happened.
I'm on the current free version 0.966.
Come to think of it, I wonder if it's related to another annoying issue I've been having. I was playing around with the optimization settings, and now, every time I try to reload a save, it drops me back into my apartment, rather than the scene I was on. No further settings reversions fix it.
To tell the truth, as much as I love the design of the game, the constant stability issues are making it very hard to continue. Breaking bugs like these and unclear story choices force me to constantly start over, and I can never get particularly far in the various story threads.
