Hi! Thanks a lot for your comment.
Unfortunately, we haven’t encountered this exact error before.
We’re really sorry this happened to you 😔
Here are a few things you could try that might help:
- Temporarily disable your antivirus – Sometimes antivirus software blocks files that Unreal Engine needs. Try disabling it or adding the game folder to the exceptions.
- Update your graphics card drivers – This error seems to be related to DirectX 12. Make sure your GPU drivers are fully up to date.
- Check your DirectX installation – Ensure DirectX 12 is installed and running properly.
- Run the game as administrator – This can help with permission issues.
- Disable overlays – Some overlays (like Discord, GeForce Experience, etc.) can cause issues with Unreal Engine.
Also, if I’m not mistaken, there should be a folder inside the game’s directory containing some essential installation files for Unreal Engine components (like DirectX, VC Redistributables, etc.). Try going to:
[GameFolder]\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us
And run the installers you find there – they might help fix the issue.
Again, we’re really sorry for the inconvenience, and we’ll do our best to improve compatibility in the future!
