since it is obvious that itch has no interest in protecting its creators from censorship does it even have a need to exist? I know itch will not receive one penny from me until they fix their stance on this issue so either fight back or find another way to make money I will not patronize your page until this policy changes and I urge all other users to do the same today It's NSFW content tomorrow its blood then guns then violence it never ends. This issue will eventually affect your favorite game guaranteed so stand up now or you might as well throw away your computer.

Lol.

How do you know Itch wasn’t fighting back? Have you lifted a finger to actually help the cause beyond screaming at people who have no influence?

it's their payment brokers.  Visa, Paypal, and the others are blackmailing itch.io to push their agenda, and itch ain't the only one (frick, STEAM of all people caved to this, and the the only time they've EVER been compromised before was the Nintendo nuke).

I get the frustration around platform policies, but change rarely comes from ultimatums. Itch.io has been a rare space for indie freedom, and while moderation decisions can be polarizing, outright boycotts don’t always lead to constructive solutions. If we want better support for creators, direct engagement and community-backed dialogue might move the needle more than public burnouts.

yeah, the only reason they even decided to just ROLL with this is they were LITERALLY BLACKMAILED BY THEIR PAYMENT BROKERS
