My feedback is below. I submitted to KenneyJam too.

  • Mechanics - I like your mechanic of eating and bulking up to be able to push boxes around to get to the exit. The gameplay loop is self-evident without the need for a tutorial.
  • Level Progression - THANKYOU for making the first level safe for the player to experiment. They can walk, jump, move around and safely eat their first burger. So many devs don't give players that safe space to experiment when the game begins.
  • Performance - The food disappears randomly at times. And there were moments where I didn't grow in size at all. Minor bigs or glitches in performance perhaps. I also get stuck on the side of boxes often and have to jump my way off.

Ideas for Improvement:

  1. Study the boxing-pushing game called Patrick's Parabox. It can give you fresh ideas on how to stretch the Box-Puzzles mechanics in new directions.
  2. If you plan to continue in the Platformer direction instead of puzzles, I recommend studying Mind over Magnet which can help you see how to maximize environmental elements as well as jump mechanics.

I appreciate the feedback! I will definitely look into Patrick's Paradox & Mind over Magnet. Thanks!!
