These Karenists and Payment Processors should not have control on what products we can buy and what can be sold off on these platforms.
Like their whole movement is supposedly to stop the glorify and sexualize of women yet they seem to target things that either fictional, sounds sexual, flat out products for women or just ATTRACTIVE women in geneal. They also stated they exclusively hate men and call women "men" who disagree with their movement, they also say that these 18+ games are advertised to children which no that's the parents problem and that's not true, if anything THE COLLECTIVE SHOUT defended "Cuties" that disgusting movie.
This group has been doing this for years, trying to get GTA 5, Detroit become human and most recently No Mercy off the gaming platform, now they're attacking not just NSFW games but any games that harms women in anyway even a scratch on their arm is a no no, leaving little creativity for games to be made. They not protecting women and children because all they target are all Fiction and Advertisement that doesn't make little changes of real women our there. All they want is to control the media of what they like to see, if they don't like it then they'll censor it. Considering they hate men they're targeting what men are into which are video games. Soon your favorite hobby will be censored because of these Karenists.

itch acted shamefully in this situation. They freaked out and just suddenly shut down the entire nsfw section without any warning. Even though all of these games were approved by their admins and followed the site rules. You can’t just take projects down that strictly obeyed your rules during years of development, this is nonsense. Moreover, numerous pages that don’t even have any connection to the "no mercy" case suffered as well.
And if itch is changing the rules, they should give the creators time, like a year, to prepare and move their games and fan base elsewhere, instead of just deleting the pages without warning. And to be fair, they should first warn the devs that the game doesn’t comply with the new rules and offer to edit it, instead of just deleting it. It seems itch cares more what femcels will say on anti-sex forums than protecting its users and creators from unfair and illegal attacks from porn haters.
Is there a law prohibiting porn? Is there a court decision that the game must be taken down? Are there any actual people who suffered because of the game? itch should follow the law and protect the interests of its community, not bend over to please toxic and sick anonymous, who keep launching organized hate attacks on the internet - seeing that the companies comply. The only suffered ones here are fans who supported and donated to the projects, and creators who put thousands of manhours and literally years of their lives into work.
Being a NSFW creator today feels like a never ending manhunt, with numerous sick predators constantly being after you to destroy everything you made - hating you solely for the fact you exist.

Everything you said is very true and what i would have pretty much said, i just say the whole situation in my own words.
Nevertheless Mastercard/Visa (plus other payment processors) and The Collective Shout should not be in control of what we can spend our money on and what can be sold on the market!
They're legit violating multiple laws as they are doing this. (For what i've heard even if Itch.io were to deny their movement, they would forced it to shutdown in some way or another)

There is such a wonderful thing as the law, which strictly defines what citizens can and cannot do. If the law and the courts recognize NSFW art as legal, then that’s it. An avalanche of toxic comments cannot be above the law, or we’ll slide from democracy to fascism, where an angry mob dictates laws, stomping into the ground anyone they don’t like.
visa and mastercard are acting vilely, dictating their judgments about what content they allow and disallow to be paid for. Their job is to control the legality of funds, not to judge what people are paying for. If something is legal under the law, they don’t have any right to ban it simply because they don’t like it. Content platforms decide for themselves what content to allow, and financial companies should control the transaction process instead of blackmailing other businesses into doing what these companies subjectively - not legally - think is good. Someone should sue them for acting like they have the right to write their own laws above the state.

It’s funny how they blame porn for corruption and rape, except 100% of actual cases of violent and non-consensual sex were committed by living humans, while not a single person in history has been violated or raped by a sex video or piece of text.
And those saying that “porn is teaching men to be sexually aggressive” probably think that rapists, maniacs, pedophiles, domestic violence, mass rapes during wars, harems - none of these ever existed on our planet before porn. The fact is that the number of sexual crimes is much lower now than it was a century or more ago. And these were real cases of sexual violence with broken lives, not “rape” in VRchat and pedophilia in the form of a game character studying in college.

Yeah they seem to target things that are fictional, they could have spread awareness like children are being abducted in broad daylight or a certain country that has lust over women but no, these FICTIONAL GAMES are causing men to become Aggressive against Women and think of them as no more than sex objects.
