Came in clutch submitting an entry 8 seconds before the end of the jam. Anyways, I played the playable version and I loved the idea of using power as a resource management for the player. Unfortunately, I failed the first wave too quickly because the power bar drained way too fast either because I got hit by the enemies or kept wasting my shots.

Consider the movement as something that shouldn't be a part of the power bar system since you're basically punishing the player for moving away from the enemy.

Smart gameplay emergence comes from knowing how to support your players and how to punish them in a way that you don't make this game too difficult on the first level. This is a pretty good entry.

Thank you for still trying out the game! I will definitely make future projects a little easier, I thought it was difficult but just because I wasn't skilled enough so it's good to know it was a universal feeling lol
