I was just wondering whether there is any meaning behind the exhibition score? Does it change anything? I thought maybe they would wear less during the day when the score is high

And no, tbh there's no deeper meaning to the exhib score, it's just flavor here, sorry.
Might be something to consider for future games, although I can't guarantee the "less clothes" route, since that's a lot of extra work, at least if we want to be thorough and apply the outfit changes in most scenes (limiting it to specific sandbox content would be an option, though).
