It was indeed a bit target to programmers, it is a risk to do since the rating period is right after the jam ends and I get if people want to play games instead of more programming :P
The time trial focuses on speed and sadly that often means missing out on seeing the frog actually eat the flies, this is something I am revising for a post-jam update. Definitely a learning experience for me.
