Lot of potential. I like everything about the game, except I feel it's a bit too hard. I could not get past second room. I recommend designing the first few levels to be easy and slowly teach the player how you want them to play.

You are right, that it's quite difficult game. It's not very easy to get difficulty curve right and maybe there should be few easier rooms at the beginning.
Anyways, tip for the first levels is to keep both character very close together and try to move and jump at the same time. Unfortunately in later levels it gets a bit harder and you need to time those jumps separately.
