Thanks a lot. I started the game, and I felt a little lost by all the amount of trash in the base.
Do note that, in the latest version, I found an item box in the storage room above the garage. That means you can get to step 3 right away.

Another change in the most recent versions: the transformers are indicated on the digital map. You do not need to buy beacons right away.
If you want a bunch of points easily follow the river towards the security gate that you originally spawn at, you should see a log sticking out of the ground along the side of the river and if you hop in it there are a ton of MRE's inside of a barrel. you won't be able to carry them all but if you put them into an item box or have the backpack you can get them all out. You can sell a full item box of MRE's for around 500-700 points, I honestly don't remember the exact amount but it's more than enough if you want a lot of money at the start.
