fun game, skill tree seems very costly to where It doesn't act like a motivator to play more and try to complete it

you are right, I should adjust the early costs of the tree. The high costs results from being able to gather more souls the more stages you beat in a single run. (for example in stage 10 every enemy drops 10 souls, in stage 20 every enemy drops 20 souls, which accumulate pretty fast, but maybe that's something to work on too)
