You described the “slidy” feeling perfectly, actually haha. That wasn’t entirely intentional, and I totally get what you mean by it feeling like the bad kind of frustrating.
I’m currently working on refining the controls to keep the intentional frustration from the level design and mechanics, but without making the movement feel unfair or out of the player’s hands.
