Actually I faced the same problem with my game, it doesn’t save the code between attempts!
But I had no time to fix it because I entered the jam late, because I had another jam before
You can fix the problem by just selecting all your code (ctrl + A) then copying it (ctrl + C) restart the game the paste it (ctrl + V)
