Thanks for the feedback. I made some sections a bit more difficult as i didn't want to make the game too easy but in turn it resulted in making it a little harder than it needed to be. Still quite new to game dev, so i will keep this in mind when making more games.
Oh, while I’m here, I suppose I should report some glitches.
A) If you spam the space bar while falling, you can float/glide instead. B) I noticed that when up against a wall (I first noticed it while upside down, after the first vertical saw section), the player doesn’t jump to their full jump height. C) Sometimes, you can get a super jump when you respawn (I don’t quite understand how it works, but I was at the saws going around the 3 platforms, and while I was holding D for going to the right and jumping, I go way higher than I’m supposed to).
The physics did feel a bit weird at times, almost as if this was a game built for a game jam with a 10-day time limit, but they were mostly stable.
I noticed some of these during testing but just didn't have enough time to fix them. For C) I think its just to do with the velocity carrying over when the player gets teleported to the checkpoint. For the other points, I think its just they way i coded the movement and jumping so I'll keep this in mind for other games.
