Thank you for the answer, but I'm still confused. If it releases for free on patreon the same day it becomes available on itch for 12USD, why wouldn't I go to your patreon and download the latest chapter for free? I understand buying the game helps support you as a creator, but it seems there is a group of paying supporters that pay for what you are already offering for free. Hope this makes sense. I'm not trying to be discouraging, just trying to understand.

Hi Smither, of course you can go directly to Patreon and download it for free, but you will not have access to the exclusive content of Itchio that you get for those 12 USD. And if I published it on Itchio, at the same time as Patreon, the game would have to have a value of 20 USD (It is the value of the Tier that has access to early access) to be even on both platforms. Hi Perles, I don't think it is necessary, each page indicates what benefits you get with each Tier. And do not forget that they are different pages, in Itchio, the game is sold and in Patreon you support the development of the game, they are different pages, if you want to participate in its development, I would recommend that you go to Patreon, but instead If you only want to buy the game and not get involved in its development, Itchio is your option.
