"Patience is a virtue, but this is not patience."
I'll echo what chim said in his comment - this felt very raw to me - and almost chaotic - in a way that felt very real. Rose keeps bouncing between emotions, not sure how to judge Mariella or her relationship with her (it reminded me a lot of the previous entry, Words Left Unsaid, indeed!) But this is the way that these sorts of relationships are... I've, of course, never been in a friendship with a violin prodigy, but I couldn't help but feel as if I've felt exactly what Rose felt. That feeling when you're not quite sure if you're friends, if this is a real friendship, if you actually like spending time together or if you simply do it because you always have. When you want to keep trying, when you can't really bear to break it off because somehow that feels too "final" - but at the same time the friendship feels hollow, like you're going through the motions.
I really love how the relationship between Mariella and Rose is sort of reflected in the violin. Rose keeps trying, keeps practicing - while wondering if there's a point to it. There's a hollow feeling to her practice, like how her friendship with Mariella feels similarly hollow. The sprite is really cute and clean, and somehow the dark browns used for the GUI and background kind of echo how empty and barren the friendship feels LOL The music is, of course, another banger, and the wistful sound really captures the emotions of the scene.
Overall, fantastic work!
