Honestly, this is incredible. It’s really interesting! To be honest, I’ve never seen a story so well built, with characters so well developed. The special effects, the music… everything flows perfectly.


The only thing I still don’t understand is the stat system you see at the beginning of the game. I just had one question: do those stats actually change anything? Do the choices in the game also affect the story? Because I’m a bit confused.


I’ve replayed the game several times. If you’re seeing this comment, it means I’ve already finished it once, but I still don’t fully understand how the stat system works.


Anyway, I’m really looking forward to seeing what comes next!

The stat system affects dice rolls. At the moment it is a bit superficial, I wanted to do a simplified Fate/Disco Elysium thing, but for the prologue I focused more on characters and story and didn't want to get bogged down by the gameplay systems. But dice rolls are influenced by your withdrawal status and the stat system. At the moment the only dice roll that affects the story in a permanent way is the last scene (also one game over half way), the rest are just a bit of flavour. As the project advances, these dice rolls will be more important and have more lasting effects.
