Making games is a time-consuming and energy-draining endeavor, and there's no guarantee you'll stay motivated from start to finish. Though I hate to admit it, it's been a really long time since I last opened a Coppercube file. I've got my own life to live—I'm still in high school, working part-time during breaks, hanging out with friends, skateboarding, and playing guitar. I do play games too, but if there's no compelling reason to keep going, I probably won't touch game development for a while. Coppercube is just a temporary tool for me, not my final destination. Once I graduate from high school, I'll have plenty of time to really dive into programming, try out new tools, and make something genuinely fun.
