It was a very great game! From your description, you explain that most of your experience before making this game was writing, and I can tell, as the game is EXTREMELY well-written! The phrasing was very smooth, the dialogue excellent and the tone very appropriate to the characters! The story was overall very sweet: just a bad moment turning into something sweeter and allowing the two characters to find a beginning of friendship. Lake was absolutely adorable to speak with; in your devlog, you mention you wanted them to be a counterpart to MC's grouchy personality, and you did so well, and under a thousand words nonetheless! Their design was also very cute. I can definitely tell the influences (I guess sweaters with shoulder length-hair are now very Undertale/Deltarune coded now loool)!
