I fully understand what you're saying,
I started an action rpg inspired by Zelda also and I bit off more than I can chew and had many drops in motivation.
Its a messed up feeling but I wish you the best and hope you can find ways to not lose that spirit

It's certainly a difficult thing, wanting so badly to make basically the game of your dreams, but it's such a large undertaking for one person. I hope to get there eventually though, it's still coming along at least, and I have pretty much the whole thing planned out.
