i can't load my 0.25 saves in the 0.27 version
Sadly an outcome of updating Renpy.
There’s nothing I can do to fix it for everyone that gets the error.
You can manually fix it by following the guide on discord, it’s in the pins of the #bug-reports channel.

you shouldn’t be, this happens to only some people. the save also doesn’t get ruined or anything, the old version is still able to run it.
