There's a strong mood difference in engagement between this and other incrimental games. It's a solid prototype.

In this game you get to click 30 times in total and you are done with all the upgrades with an artificial time buffer of there being a wall change and you need to wait till you gather 20'000 coins 35c/second I do more clicks to post this reply than to beat the game.

The balls look nice, but that's about it.

if you up the prices by 30% i think it will become a good challenge.

then we have to make choices, since we cannot afford all upgrades to max.

also less difference between upgrade prices between all stages. and walls closer together in health as well. to further enhance the amount of choices. since the first stage will not become dirt cheap, you may still prefer to do a lvl1 upgrade at stage 20 before the stage 1 lvl10 upgrade.

the cat and fire rate prices need to go up, after each upgrade level. so they stay relevant later in the game and not dirt cheap.

then it becomes a puzzle. (stage 2 cat upgrade lvl 5 / stage 5 ammo type upgrade? for example)

double the prices! so, that you can barely get 70% of all upgrades done. the less upgrades can be done per stage, the more choices i guess. so 30% even more to compare between stages.

another thing to add would be upgrades that multiply with upgrades from different stages. then different choices will make massive differences.

(if you do all that, tho, people can make bigg mistakes and get stuck/go too slow.

so, for new players the game would need a reset button. or maybe prestige for tiny boost effect. i dont think prestige is required. they should just restart and puzzle better with the experience they really got from playing).

easy fixes i guess would be :

-prices and wall health closer together between stages. so that you can only afford 50% of all upgrades

-the price differences between first and last stage have to be small.

idle star shooter 2 would require multiplicative upgrades between stages.

oh, stage 3, lol. end of game. idle ss2 would need more stages. ;)

(you know what? save it all for 'idle angry starshooters'. 20 stages. all  close together in health.:)
