I believe that there will be no good ending here, but in an ending like this - no.

The idea is good, but for a second...

Loken has nowhere else to live. His village has become a Blackzone. Drevora (did I spell it right???) cannot be a leader without people. So Loken will lose his authoritative protection because of this. He lost his father figure. Takshi and Nitro are friends in some sense, but not a holding factor. He gets very attached to things, and now everything has been taken away from him. If Alex dies, so does Loken too. He can't stand it. Alex also from his side. He depends only on Loken now. He has a student, but this student was traumatized so early that he completely changed his opinion about everything around him. That's why Alex has a strong connection only to Loken and Byte.

I can believe in Byte's death, since he has a demonic origin and if the goal is to destroy Soulcreek, then Byte will also cease to exist. Otherwise, everyone will die from loneliness and apathy.

Alex will lose his cheats for ignoring biological needs from Byte's death and will be very upset, but will be able to live on with Loken. Loken won't care about Byte after the end of the battle, and if he does, then not so upset as if lost father figure.

I tried typing this 9 times. A few times i dozed off and it would delete random parts of it, or add a bunch of random gibberish6 The settlement did not become a blackzone. All of Illayla did. With Glitch there are no zones anymore. they're free to go wherever. So nowhere is safe. Alex knows that if glitch gets to SoulCreek with the algorithm he will basically be a god of sorts. The part I'm not sure about is, the demons are "magic" or something no of this earth right? They sparked an unnatural techno revolution right? Then wtf is this Gaia thing in Lake Krike? The thing that killed an entire ferry of bipeds, not humans, bipeds. On purpose, and drove the captain insa⁹þne. We also know Krike isn't a lake, but a delta(?), a fjord(?), cave(?). Something that is connected to the sea (i assume they mean the Atlantic or Pacific?) With a random gigantic creature in it seemingly magical as well, but that kills bipeds, not just ù. Yet we know nothing about its powers or motivations. We've never even seen it, other than a darkening of the water and Alex saying it's massive. It may not even be real. Personally I think Glitch will jump into Loken, as it knows Alex could never hurt the Husky. This will culminate in the finale where he will have to choose, but Byte will save the day. If this is the route they choose, I won't read it. Personally, I think all 3 die. That way people won't be asking for more stories about how they've been giving since shit hit the fans will want to know what's happened since shit hit the fan. Mylo will be fine, I'm betting he hs a demon of his own. Remeygmber the friend "Ed" he said he has? That no one has seen?😉 there's something in that just you watch. We already lost the best character as a self sacrifice in the most idiotic way possible. You don't kill yourself AFTER Glitch gets what he wants. You're supposed to do it before alex and him touched hands. Does literally 0 good to do it after the fact, unless you wanted to destroy your son, Loken. Ok, this is all I'll say for now. I just lost the entire last half of this comment mysteriously and it's driving me insagʻne. Maybe I'll try to retype it, maybe it's the site freaking out over how long this is. 😆

Gaia... I don't know what it is too. When I first meet it from story I tho it was one of the demons creatures. The novel doesn't directly show what demons look like, but there is a demon in one frame. If you brighten the frame of Aeron's house when its burn, you can see the demon in full growth. They don't look like mechanisms, but rather like nightmarish creations. I thought they looked more like the robots from "The Incredibles" but they definitely don't. I thought that magic here is like radio emission, but that doesn't explain teleportation, so let it still be something supernatural. I also think that Gaia can be like a guard.

Why its kinda hidden, I didn't add some filters. Im sure its Glitch!

I won't care how the novel ends. I'm ready for anything. I'm also not sure Glitch will be able to manipulate Loken that quickly, especially when Alex and Byte are around. Honestly I don't understand Glitch's motive for being "God". I thought he just wanted a physical shell of meat and flesh for all his fellows.

Mylo can't be with a demon if that's what you mean.

Why couldn't Mylo be with a demon? We know he's more "more human" than others, has a friends Ed no one sees, knows how to build/fix things like none have ever seen, he speaks in ways using terminology and phrases only Alex knows, etc. Something is fishy there. I can't see Gaia being Glitch, I do have a screenshot of the demon and the burning house. Alex said they were technology but disgutingly twisted by some strange force. Glitch wants to control all the infants and bipeds, then run all the infants through Alex to allow them to ascend into the bipeds thereby basically taking over the world. That's why I said Lokens brain might be their saving grace, being that he's autistic. We already know Byte said it was fucked in there, and that may slow Glitch enough. I'm also curious about these Automonks. Something tells me they aren't bipeds, that they may be humans that are kind of being gods watching over all of Illalya. They intentionally keep the bipeds ignorant to be able to "control" them. The "affliction" is definitely a genetic abnormality that humans either created when they first made bipeds in order to control their population. Or it was somehow done later in an attempt to lower their numbers to sway the outcome of the human hunt, which didn't work. I also think Alex was left alone because Glitch knew he needed him for ascension but maybe didn't know how to wake him, or had to wait for a biped to do it in order for him to wake.

Lol, can't add spoiler warnings as these are just speculations, nothings happened yet.

I mean you couldn't send a message because of the Glitch. it was a joke .

If bipeds existed before the catastrophe and lived with humans, then this means that they could interbreed with each other - Therefore, sometimes children can be born with the traits of their ancestors.

I don't think Glitch was waiting for Alex specifically, but Alex just stumbled upon him. Alex could have also stumbled upon another demon, like Glitch.
