Hey !
You can skip the tutorial by clicking on "Give up" in the pause menu. It will bring you to the hero selection screen and you can start a new game from there.

Regarding the assets. I'm not planning to make them available at the moment. But I might do that in the future. In the meantine I recommend checking out Kenney's assets. (kenney.nl)
The assets from Tilemancer Dungeon are based on his "Tiny Dungeon" asset pack which is available for free.
