my first battle already too hard,

i need the key to the maze and it's guarded by 2 level 2 zombies

is there a way to get stronger before that? what am i missing?

You can look for chests, you can find better equipment in them, some potions etc. First opponents should be possible to defeat without receiving damage if you get some practice but you can turn on cheats in options and use 'O' key for cheat table.

by "first opponents" you mean the the battle i just described?

or something else? and where are those chests?

First opponents i mean zombies and small goblins, with some practice you will beat them every time.

How to turn on/off cheats: settings > switch to cheats enabled (or something similar) > back to game > press "O" key to open cheat table.

If you sometimes restore your health or move quickly it shouldn't disrupt gameplay.

There is also hidden advanced cheats but I'll keep it a secret :)

it feels like you're not really listening cause you keep giving me useless info and not really answering my questions.

notice i said i don't want to use cheats and then you explain how to turn then on.

do you mind reading again my question and give something i can use?
