Finally got it! Sorry for doubting lol. I hadn't thought to try that bed since I had already done it once and gotten the message about sleeping restlessly.
If you have trouble making progress in TaiFab, it probably means that you need to find an item. :) There is an item that will help you sleep deeply. Keep looking around! Let me know if you need a more specific hint. :)
