Impressive! Sick game! -and the classic game references are fun.
The button controls were confusing to me at first, I thought I could use WASD, arrow keys, OR mouse, but i found I could only use mouse to aim and move (and i think this is what was set, I just didn't understand all that).
Additionally, the text saying that you could use B/space to break wasn't obvious to me, I missed it and struggled to figure how to pass subsequent stages. In the meantime, I abused the use of corners to glitch outside the map and then go back in so I could pass a few stages, but I eventually realized that I could use breaks. ((I would refresh the game whenever I launched myself out of the map and couldn't get back in, so after a few refreshes and replaying the first few levels, i figured out the break mechanic))
The game is cool, but it is frustrating when I make a good precise launch, all to make a crappy move next, making it feel like my progress was just washed away... im mad cus im bad. Maybe i would describe some of the gameplay as feeling tedious.
The music was cool, but I don't think it loops, so I played most of the game in silence, which is a tad bit sad.
Also, DANG Hiro, the variety of mechanics is sick. Pac-man -style opposite side of screen -joining, enemies that follow you, laser guns!? Keys? There's so much in this short game, I'm really impressed. I was not expecting so many mechanics. (and shout-out for the web build!!)
I would have played more levels if there was more levels.
