If you click to see the walk through and then click on step 1, step 2, etc in the description you can get a full step by step guide to complete the game.
That's the same as the walkthrough you wrote right? Did you miss that you can click into each step?
I'm sorry that you felt lost (that's why we included the guide, but kept it external in case you wanted to explore for yourself). It seems you may have had some graphical troubles, that glow is not supposed to be there. I hope it didn't ruin your experience too much and you still had fun!
