Unfortunately, I get a mysterious "The application 'Game' can't be opened" pop-up when I try to open to open the Mac version :( I hope that's eventually working, but I'll probably try the browser version in the meantime.

I know now that this is because the version of RPG maker i use actually doesnt deploy to mac or linux anymore...
However, the full version of the game is out now and you can play it in the browser!
So if you're still interested after all this time you can play it there haha

as someone who kinda bounced off yume nikki bc I didn't like the feeling of getting lost, I'm learning to appreciate the approach you're meant to take with these kinds of games... I'm really liking the atmosphere of so many of these areas-- the zigzag garden with the colorful trees and the cloud pond docks are some of my favorites so far.
my only point of critique is I find some parts a bit obstructively slow, like the quick exit from the elevators and then the wait time before re-entry if you want to go back the way you came, or the length of the train cutscene before you can move again. but I recognize these may have been artistic choices, too!
also really liking the soundtrack, and wondering if it's available as a playlist anywhere else?
