Didn't want to create whole new thread so just posting my last thought for now here.  I feel like the choice to call the ex feels a little contrived and a bit meta. Like just feels like that is an odd reason to close Faye path. Not biggest fan of this choice and feels forced to me to have this meta choice to stay on her path.

Wish it was different and didn't close her path off this weird choice which seems a bit illogical to me, can you explain this choice and why, just my thoughts

You do realize that if you choose to call her ex, in the end she never calls her ex. You know that, right?

yeah, I know, that is why I called the choice a meta choice. We as players know we don't call the ex, but the choice in game should reflect that, and it just feels out of place. So yes, we choose to call the ex, just to continue path in game, which seems illogical by game logic.

It would be like in real life to go on this date with a girl, call your ex, whether they pick up or norlt foesn't matter, its required to continue date, just seems illogical to me in the game sense. Hopefully I explained well.

You are being illogical. The choice in the game to "call the ex" is merely a decision Wanda makes in her mind but then later changes her mind, the order or the events is presented in such a way that THAT is only discovered by the player later on. It changes nothing. She made a choice to call ex, she changed her mind, and it is done.
