Hi, I feel like i just be misunderstanding something fundamental. I have level 5 dexterity and arm sleeves, yet I can't do anything past moving the sheets without her instantly waking up, no matter how I time the minigame.

To my understanding, everything is just as it should be, dex/int /cha are directly used only during the battles when running.
Having high stat level doesn't affect the night performance, rather it enables you to buy perks affecting the night performance and 'arm sleeves' is one of the first upgrades that has a minor effect on your night fun, it would be better to farm more credits and buy other dex upgrades.
Also remember to pat her head as it helps reducing the awake status.
