Turtle was not a hard requirement, but it would have been awesome. Who said our player aren’t turtles ;), hard to pixel with 8x8 tileset. Hope you still liked it.
I don't think it was mandatory, maybe it was just a way to create interaction in the jam or something, but I understand that it was confusing, I also thought it was mandatory.
