If the error is taking place within a checkpoint area could you specify which particular checkpoint is that? Does that error "solves itself" if you open the options' menu and then continue the game?
It happens at the first checkpoint. I wasn't able to recreate the bug, but because I saved the game while clipped, pressing continue doesn't fix it.
