Hello! Thank you for playing the game!

Yup, I have one alpha build playtester and they brought up these points too about the paragraph and line breaks. I am aware the correct ones in what you're quoting are:

You don't fully understand her words, and she forgives you for it. "Mmmmm," is your only response.
"Well, they will not be back in a long while," she continues. "Why don't we go to the kitchen and eat rice with the leftover pinikpikan chicken? Maybe even let you sip on rice wine."

I'm sorry to hear it's been distracting. Yes, I am aware its unconventional.

This is intentional bc I find it easier to read/process and easier on the eyes when the dialogue is at the very beginning and descriptive sentences or tags aren't mixed in the middle. That, and dialogue not being in between sentences. That's why the line breaks are there, and as long as it is clear who is speaking, I'm not keen on reformatting this.

I do playtesting din kasi, and reread the text through the game. So yes, I'm prioritizing my needs and preferences in my game lol.

Thank you for bringing it up though, I will address this in the Player Guide. If it becomes too distracting to play, I understand. I do appreciate you playing and commenting, so thanks again!
