Thanks! Yes, it helped me, but I don't know why the machine doesn't work in my personal save... and in the one already in the game, there are only two devices I can build. Is it possible to unlock more? If so, how? And how can I get handcuffs, gags, etc.?
You need to advance in the story so that the machine works . Press M to show the map and on the right side are the quests , click the very first one to select the main quest and it will mark where you need to go and what to do.
handcuffs gags etc.. they come later , they need story progression (or you can get caughty by any of the patroling gynoids)
