I think you’ve lost a bit of the charm in getting so much focus on the detail. I feel like the world you’ve made is a cartoon world and some of the changes here kinda feel like you’re almost ashamed of that?
I don’t think some art style updates are a bad idea in and of themselves but they need to feel more like an evolution than a change, if that makes sense.
there’s probably a strong middle ground between this new design and what came before. That said, I have zero problem with the new art, this is just feedback and I’ll play and enjoy OPT3 regardless!
